Wide Receiver Globetrotter Drill


The purpose of this drill is to improve the player’s quickness and reaction to the ball and quick hands.


The coach stands about ten yards apart in a ready position. The coach then flips the ball back and forth to the players, taking the ball behind his back and through his legs. The players do the same thing, slow at first but gradually picking up the pace.

Coaching Points

Make sure the players try to keep their eyes on the ball.
