Quarterback Ball Isometric Drill


The purpose of the Quarterback Ball Isometric Drill is to strengthen the quaterback’s grip of the football.


  1. quarterback grips ball as tightly as possible for 10 seconds
  2. quarterback should alternate right and left hand.
  3. repeat four times.

Coaching Points

  • Quarterback should concentrate on just squeezing the ball with his hand, and not cramp up the whole body.
