Trinity University Football Practice Schedule Breakdown (Offensive Lineman)
I. Pre Practice (15 minutes)
Tuesday: **New play with RB’s – Walk / Talk through Running Play(s) vs. Different Fronts
Wednesday: Blitz Pickup with RB’s vs. Various Fronts
Thursday: Review Goalline Play Action / Blocking Assignments for OL’s / Backs vs. Regular Fronts and Blitz Packages
II. Practice
4:13 – 4:20: Team Stretch
4:20 – 4:25: PAT
4:25 – 4:40: Special Teams
OL’s – Individual Time
- Chutes / 5 man and Crowther Sled
- Individual Techniques (ie. Pull, Back Block, Zone steps, Gap scheme, Screen Review, Draw / Shovel Sets)
4:40 – 5:10: Group Period (Change Players)
4:40 – 4:50: Base Run Plays vs. Basic Fronts (Zone, Gap and Man Plays vs. Front and Slant)
4:50 – 5:00: Blitz Recognition and Pickup vs. 3 Main Blitzes (RB’s Included)
5:00 – 5:10: Pass Rush
- One on One:
- Two on Two: (OT’s vs. DE’s) (OC / OG vs. DT / Nose)
- Full Line: Frontside / Backside
- 4 over 5: Align front 4 but only 2 Rush, other 2 DLs take two steps upfield
5:10 – 5:30: Inside Run and Pass Skelly
5:30 – 6:10: Full Team
