Offensive Line Fold Block Footwork Drill


To get to assignment quicker for a Fold-Block.


Just like the stance drill, just on a given cadence the players explode from their stance and freeze after their first two steps

Coaching Points

  • Step 1: Drop step
    • short drop step 6″ to 7″
    • shoulders stay square to LOS
    • stay low
    • head up
  • Step 2: Kick through
    • Kick through with other foot
    • get upfield
    • ready to deliver blow (right shoulder right etc.)
    • stay low
