USC Headcoach Lane Kiffin fired

USC TrojansAfter a terrible 2012 season (7-6 with being ranked #1 in the preseason polls and ending up unranked – first time since about half a century that this happend) , a total of 7 losses in the last 11 games (4 of them vs unranked teams) the USC administration decided during the 3rd Quarter of the 41-62 loss to the Arizona State Sun Devils that they had enough of Lane Kiffin.

The 3rd Quarter actually started pretty good for the USC Trojans with a quick TD-scoring drive regaining the lead 21-20 – but then a total breakdown of the Trojans defense, “supported” by a Pick-6 from QB Cody Kessler helped the Sun Devils to 28 unanswered points in the remainder of the 3rd Quarter.

Kiffin was dismissed by AD Pat Haden directly at LAX – Airport not even letting Kiffin travel back with the team bus.

This is how InsideUSC reported it on twitter
