Defensive Back Wave Carrioca


The purpose of this Defensive Back Wave Carrioca Drill is to develop quick feet and quick reaction – also great for warm-up flexing the hips.


Defensive Back will sprint laterally (facing straight) using quick carrioca steps and sprint laterally in the opposite direction using carrioca steps. On direction from coach, defenders will drive past coach.

Stress quick feet and quick change of direction (no wasted steps in changing directions)
