Grip drop drill
Purpose
- To strengthen the grip and to improve the feel for the ball.
Description
- Quarterback holds ball at waist level with one hand
- then brings the ball up 6 to 8 inches
- then lets go of the ball completely and regrip it
Alternate right and left hand.
Increase speed as you get better.
Coaching Points
- QB shouldn't slap at ball, but squeeze it.
