According to an article from the Dallas Cowboys, the 3 NFL Teams looking for a new head coach (Falcons, Ravens, Dolphins) are all pretty much interested in current or former Cowboys assistant coaches:
The Falcons reportedly will interview Cowboys OC Jason Garrett and OL/assistant head coach Tony Sparano.
Also Baltimore seems to be interested in Garrett, even though no inverview date was appointed yet.
An to no big surprise the Dolphins now lead by two former Cowboys (Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland) are looking, according to quotes from Ireland, for “familiarity” and “good football coaching qualities”. Which would add to Garrett and Sparano also two former Cowboys assistants: Cardinals OC Todd Haley and Cardinals RB coach Maurice Carthon. But they are also interviewing Vikings DC Leslie Frazier.
But in my opinion and with Bill Parcell’s history of gathering old companions around himself wherever he goes, I wouldn’t bet my money on Frazier…
