As offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild heads to Colorado State, HC Dick Jauron is looking for a new OC. And even though it is still not determined who might be the new head of the Buffalo Bills offense, he already destroyed one hope of the players: It’s not going to be the same system as in 2007, “The possibilities are there could be significant change there.” he said.
IMHO this already shows that Jauron is probably pretty sure who the new OC will be, it’s just not official yet.
Another hint in that direction might be, that the expectations of QB Trend Edwards to be back at the Bills training facilities in early march, are countered by a remark from the BuffaloBills.com Report “… changes on offense will likely bring Edwards back to One Bills Drive sooner than that.”
But on the other side Jauron seems to plan the next season with the same 3 quarterbacks (Trent Edwards, J.P. Losman and Gibran Hamdan) as there were in 2007, as he expects them to “come back in” to learn the new offensive system, sooner than anybody else of the team…
