Brian Billick released

The last NFL gameday has just ended, then already the first HC got booted:

Baltimore Ravens Brian Billick got “relieved of coaching duties” after a disappointing season including a 9 game loosing streak. The very poor performing offense coordinated by Rick Neuheisel (who already left to take the new UCLA HC Job) was probably one of the reasons…

Update/Additional Info:

Billick just signed a four year extension last year, which leaves him still employed by the Ravens for the next three years, all assistants, having still one year on their contract, were also let go.

Now former Defensive Coordinator  Rex Ryan will be interviewed for the Head Coaching postion, but he’ll be just one of many others…

only Bill Cowher, the former Steelers HC, is, despite other rumors, at least currently not considered an option…
