Interims Coach is now Defensive Coordinator Jim Haslett.

Linebackers Coach and Assistant HC, Rick Venturi, was promoted to DC.

Jim Haslett, as former HC of the New Orleans Saints, is not new to the HC duties in the NFL. The Rams hope that he will re-ignite the fire in the team.

And if he succeeds, who knows if he’s not the next permanent HC for the Rams…

Hurricane Ike forces NFL to reschedule

Posted on September 14th, 2008 in NFL by coachroth

The devastating Hurricane Ike which severely damaged the Reliant Stadium (home of the Texans) in Houston… forces the NFL to a unknown rescheduling and re-shuffling of games… (Hurricane Katrina “just” forced the New Orleans Saints to play their homegames on uncommon grounds…)

So the following changes are planned:

Todays game Ravens at Texans is rescheduled to take place on November 9th at 1:00pm Eastern) both teams will have their bye week this week…

Previous planned Texans Home game on Nov. 9th (vs. the Bengals) is rescheduled for October 26th at 4:05pm Eastern

The Bengals bye week is moved from Week 8 to Week 10.
