It seems that in Miami barely one stone was left on the other, after the Dolphins finished their worst season (1-15) ever.<br />
It all started with Bill Parcells being hired as the new Director of Football operations, which lead to a total rebuild of the coaching staff
and the release of many players and hiring of a lot of new FA players even before the draft.
Then on March, 31st the NFL-Owners agreed to a new ownership of the Miami Dolphins: Wayne Huizenga who owned the Miami Dolphins since 1984 (1980-1984 co-owner) decided to give the Miami Dolphins into new hands. At first he sold 50% of the shares to Stephen Ross, with an agreed complete transition of the ownership in the near future by making Ross the Managing General Partner. He decided so “to the best of the Miami Dolphins” since even though his family is very close to the Miami Dolphins none of them is close enough to take over the reigns… So he had to find somebody to take over the leadership… But Huizenga want to keep “some stake in the team” as long as he lives, leaving it to his inheritants…
Well, it seems from the buyers point of view there’s barely a better moment to buy an NFL-Team than when it’s coming of a season with just one win (Jerry Jones took over the Dallas Cowboys in a similar situation…), so the price can’t be much lower…
But on the other hand, the current “value” of NFL-Teams, makes them very hard to sell, so when you sell it might be easier to find a buyer when the “value” of the team seems to be at the lowest point…

On Tuesday (April 15th, 2008) the NFL announced the Schedule for the 2008 Season.
Since the opponents are already known since the end of the Regular Season 2007 there was no room for surprises…
But the interesting thing was who would be how often on National TV, and how many Nat. TV Games will each team host.
